Julie Wilkins, a licensed Occupational Therapist and certified yoga therapist combines yoga and Occupational Therapy principles in this 3 module workshop.
Students will learn how to use 5 dynamic yoga inspired postures to improve back strength and body mechanics for functional skills you can actually take off the mat and use in your day to day life. This class will build strength, stamina, and improve healthy posturing while learning how to move well "off the mat!"
All levels, appropriate for beginners and all level spine fusions.
Module 1 - A 12 minute full body warm up
Module 2 - A short but effective practice video to learn 5 dynamic yoga postures
Module 3 - We will workshop how to take the postures off the mat for daily living activities including lifting, carrying, bending, gardening, and more! Real time practice and demonstration included.
